 I’m hearing from different sources this morning that picking on Congressman Hank Johnson’s obvious confusion while speaking with Admiral Willard about relocating Navy personnel to Guam was a mean-spirited, heartless, insensitive, and downright, well… conservative thing to do. He’s sick, don’t you know. Rep. Hank Johnson is the Atlanta Democrat who defeated and replaced the execrable Cynthia [...]  How, you say? Well, in my family, he’s Crazy Uncle Louie. He usually sits on the porch rocking back and forth, talking to himself and shouting at the kids on the street. He thinks that there’s aliens hiding in his garage and that they’ve implanted chips in his brain to read his thoughts. And then Representative Hank Johnson [...]

Stuff like blogs, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter… all of these are cutting edge technologies that help people communicate, and if politics isn’t about communication, what is it? Not to criticize, but I’ve never understood people who have such a cavalier attitude toward life. I know this is supposedly “how life should be lived,” and perhaps I’m not living it to the fullest behind my desk as I happen to be now. But I’d rather vegetate behind my keyboard than try to figure why my [...] 
There’s been a lot of conversation about LeBron and whether he’s the Greatest Of All Time, and I’ve been roped into my fair share already. One such recent conversation, after he had been eliminated from the playoffs, had us discussing how big an impact his walking off the court without shaking hands with the opposing team [...] I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve seen this. It’s YouTube Awesomeness at its finest, with a conservative lean. Big thanks to IMAO, where I just saw it for the first time. |
