The world's smallest violin for Representative Hank Johnson

I’m hearing from different sources this morning that picking on Congressman Hank Johnson’s obvious confusion while speaking with Admiral Willard about relocating Navy personnel to Guam was a mean-spirited, heartless, insensitive, and downright, well… conservative thing to do.

He’s sick, don’t you know.

Rep. Hank Johnson is the Atlanta Democrat who defeated and replaced the execrable Cynthia [...]

Representative Johnson makes my Uncle Louie happy

How, you say?

Well, in my family, he’s Crazy Uncle Louie.

He usually sits on the porch rocking back and forth, talking to himself and shouting at the kids on the street.  He thinks that there’s aliens hiding in his garage and that they’ve implanted chips in his brain to read his thoughts.

And then Representative Hank Johnson [...]

Ray Stevens doesn't seem to like ObamaCare

raystevens01

From YouTube.

It looks like it was posted back in the early part of December, but I’m just seeing this now, thanks to an email and link to the Ace of Spades Over Night Thread.

Here we’ve got Ray Stevens in various attire getting his dander up about suffocating old people thanks to our soon-to-be new health [...]

I’ll take unemployed freshman senators for $500, Alex

Kool-AidMan

In an interesting clip from YouTube, via Hot Air, freshman senator Michael Bennet tells his constituents where they can shove it with one easy word.

“Yes.”

So, Jeopardy-style, what’s the question for this answer?

“If every piece of evidence tells you if you support that bill, you will lose your job… would you cast the vote and lose your [...]

The Privileged Planet

Because President Obama is so kind to offer up a constant stream of topics that send my heart into nervous spasms, I rarely post about other issues these days.  In the past, we used to have more topics about religion and sports and other current events on this site, but most of it is gone [...]

A GOP ad chock full o’ Obama lies on health care

I’m a firm believer in the New Media.

Stuff like blogs, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter… all of these are cutting edge technologies that help people communicate, and if politics isn’t about communication, what is it?

In the past–even this last election–I would sit back and scream about how the Repubs are doing nothing to help themselves.  Bad ads, [...]

Little girl asks the Pres tough questions during town hall

Whew.

I really don’t know how he can take the withering abuse from these town hall meetings.

The audio is a little whacked, but it’s all I can find right now.

If you can’t hear, the innocent little tyke is saying, “As I was walking in, I saw a lot of signs outside saying mean things about reforming [...]

Uhhhh… I’ll pass, thanks.

Not to criticize, but I’ve never understood people who have such a cavalier attitude toward life.

I know this is supposedly “how life should be lived,” and perhaps I’m not living it to the fullest behind my desk as I happen to be now.

But I’d rather vegetate behind my keyboard than try to figure why my [...]

LeBron James GOAT? He’s got a long way to go before he’s better than Kareem

aagz061_8x10kareem-abdul-jabbar-hook-shot-posters

There’s been a lot of conversation about LeBron and whether he’s the Greatest Of All Time, and I’ve been roped into my fair share already.

One such recent conversation, after he had been eliminated from the playoffs, had us discussing how big an impact his walking off the court without shaking hands with the opposing team [...]

YouTube Awesomeness: Me is Mine, You is Yours

I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve seen this.

It’s YouTube Awesomeness at its finest, with a conservative lean.

Big thanks to IMAO, where I just saw it for the first time.
