 I’m hearing from different sources this morning that picking on Congressman Hank Johnson’s obvious confusion while speaking with Admiral Willard about relocating Navy personnel to Guam was a mean-spirited, heartless, insensitive, and downright, well… conservative thing to do. He’s sick, don’t you know. Rep. Hank Johnson is the Atlanta Democrat who defeated and replaced the execrable Cynthia [...]  Old Nancy seems to be limping her way ever closer to her goal of 216. She swears she’s got the votes to get this done, and probably by tomorrow afternoon, barring some other delay, we’ll know whether it’s still safe to get sick in this country or not. But with them so close to their goal, we [...]  David Brooks swings so wildly back-and-forth in some of his opinion pieces, I’m surprised his glasses haven’t flown off. One moment, the liberal commenters on his NYT posts call him a crazed right-winger, and the next moment republican commenters are saying he’s a radical leftist media-type. Y’know… a year ago I would have felt pretty bad about this. Now? Not so much. David Letterman surprised his studio audience Thursday during the taping of his CBS show when he announced that he’d had sex with female “Late Show” staffers and that someone had tried to extort $2 million from him to keep quiet about [...] 
I honestly didn’t think it was possible to dismantle a presidency so quickly. Especially one that was so popular, so charismatic, so full of undiluted awesome sauce. I understand he hasn’t had any real experience running anything. Not a business, not a state, not a lemonade stand. But for gosh sakes… he’s got advisers, doesn’t he??? [...]  Unlike many others who take up space in my party, I didn’t lose a wink of sleep when Specter flopped like a dying fish to the other side of the aisle. I knew some people who were positively aghast that “conservatives” were losing yet another seat.
